Depending on the helpdesk-to-devices ratio, TeamViewer can be significantly cheaper than LMI. More than three, you can add individual channels as-needed. If you have three remote support personnel on duty, you move up to the Corporate level which has three simultaneous channels. So.a Premium license with one channel lets one helpdesk operator do remote support on an unlimited number of remote machines, either separately or simutaneously this is ideal (and economical) for small or one-person shops. They charge per 'channel', which you can think of as 'one IT support person on duty'. You might want to check out the pricing - TV doesn't charge per host/device one license lets you install it on & support unlimited machines. For mobile, it has an app but not an agent (meaning you can do remote support from a tablet or smartphone, but can't remote into those devices (yet?). Comes in Win, OSX, and Linux flavors, can be installed as an unattended background service with its own access password. ![]() It doesn't do the inventory & patch checking that LMI Central does, but it has all the remote support features you might need - custom remote key commands, selective user input/black screen controls, integrated chat & VOIP, PTP file transfer or VPN, multimonitor support, session recording, etc.
